VIBE Coaching Network

The acronym “VIBE” stands for Victory In Breaking Ethnocentrism. The vision of the VIBE Alliance is to bring senior pastors together to equip and empower them to lead their churches toward racial, ethnic, gender and socio-economic reconciliation. This is consistent with the goal of Salter McNeil & Associates (SMA), which is to “train leaders and transform communities” that are characterized by intercultural integrity.
The VIBE Alliance is distinctly different from other coaching networks because of Salter McNeil & Associates unique ability of assessing the spiritual environment, understanding the needs of the people and facilitating a powerful, spiritual experience so that true reconciliation can occur. SMA knows that this type of long-term, transformational change takes at least 3-5 years to accomplish. Therefore, through the VIBE Alliance, we develop the context for a multi-year relationship with pastors and churches to design and nurture a customized process to help them reach their goal of becoming a multiethnic/multiracial Christian community.
The 3 Core Values of the VIBE Alliance are:
Mentorship – Personal mentorship is fundamental for the VIBE Alliance. We realize that without a serious dedication towards mentorship, VIBE Alliance will not be effective in leading churches around the US to be third culture.
Fellowship – One of the main purposes of the VIBE Alliance is to connect like-minded third culture people together. We hope that through the gathering events and mentorship, lifelong friendships will emerge.
Ownership – Each participant in the VIBE Alliance will be held accountable to put into practice the things that they are learning from the coaching process. Ownership is required in order to be a part of the alliance. Ownership will be measured by attendance, participation and completion of assignments.
